According to Murilo Pascoal, CEO of Beach Park, it was with a beach hut in 1985 that the project began. Four years later came the inauguration of Aqua Park, Brazil's first water park, voted the second best water park in the world and the best in the Americas by TripAdvisor/Travellers' Choice in 2023.

Among the novelties for the first half of 2024 is the Arvorar Park, located in the municipality of Aquiraz/CE in the Vila Terra Brasilis neighborhood - just 25 minutes from the Beach Park complex and Fortaleza. The space will feature more than 20 attractions and will promote environmental education and awareness in a fun way. As the main attraction, Parque Arvorar will have 3 large immersion aviaries, with a total area of 3,000 m2, where the public will be able to observe around 250 animals on a path monitored by environmental educators. An amphitheater, playgrounds, a restaurant, different types of guided tours and a window with a view behind the scenes - where it will be possible to observe the activities of the park's technical staff, such as in the areas of maternity, animal welfare and nutrition - complete the attractions.
The park's activities will also include the Refauna Arvorar project, which aims to repopulate endangered birds native to Ceará.
In addition, in response to numerous requests from the public, another novelty for the first half of the year is the long-awaited return of one of Aqua Park's most unforgettable attractions. Deactivated in 2017, the Black Moray has marked a whole generation of visitors. In 2024, a reinterpretation of the toy in a new, more modern version will bring together a waterslide and a challenge circuit - with nets and
suspended bridges - in one place.
In "A Volta da Moreia", the descent, which used to take place in a dark and completely closed tube, has given way to a bold project, allowing for a bright, fun and radical experience through a tube 80 centimetres in diameter, full of combinations of translucent and multicolored graphic cut-outs, which provide different sensations and visual effects.
The latest addition to the resort portfolio, Ohana Beach Park Resort, also promises to surprise with a more sophisticated accommodation experience. Expected to start construction this month, the resort will be built on an area of approximately 10,000m², by the sea, with architecture that combines the rustic and the comfortable with elements of Ceará culture. The project includes 218 apartments, ranging from junior suites to more spacious suites, especially the Garden options, which are up to 350 m2 and have a private pool, jacuzzi and garden. The social and leisure area offers a welcoming reception, lobby with bar and terrace overlooking the sea, gift and convenience store, balconies, a 400m² central pool, children's pool, indoor kids club and a restaurant that celebrates the best of local cuisine.
Also noteworthy was the expansion of Vila Azul do Mar, a leisure and entertainment area open to the public, with new stores and gastronomic options and a beautiful carousel for children, most of whose activities started in the late afternoon, after Aqua Park closed. And now, Beach Park also has a modern and comfortable environment in which to hold the event of your dreams, with
sea view and a lot of sophistication. Espaço Azul do Mar, located next to the Beach Restaurant, has capacity for up to 400 people and can be used for any type of event - corporate, get-togethers, weddings, birthdays, parties, etc. The venue has an air-conditioned indoor area of 410 m2, which can be used in conjunction with the outdoor beach and lawn area.
Beach Park is also announcing this year a major new facility in the heart of Fortaleza, on the Beira-mar waterfront, to enhance tourists' experience in the city's main tourist attraction: the Beira-mar piers, divided into the Píer Náutico and the Píer Ideal.
At the Nautical Pier, fun is guaranteed with entertainment options for everyone. The space will feature a fun Carousel, the Drop'n Twist toy and a grandstand for those who love to watch the sunset over Fortaleza, as well as stores and food and drink kiosks to complement the experience of those who choose the place to stroll around. On the Píer Ideal, those who love to enjoy the best of gastronomy will find restaurants, including two by the sea and a main one that will provide a cruise ship-like look.
