The Ohana Beach Park Resort began its soft opening on September 29, 2026, and is already welcoming guests at Porto das Dunas Beach in Aquiraz, Ceará. With an investment of R$ 150 million, 226 rooms, and more than 56 works of art by local artists, Beach Park’s new resort offers sophisticated hospitality inspired by the design and culture of Ceará.
Ohana is Beach Park’s new resort, one of the leading leisure destinations in the Northeast. It joins the complex alongside the Acqua, Suites, Wellness, and Oceani resorts, bringing the destination’s total number of rooms to more than 800.

The resort began operations with a soft opening on September 29, 2026, when it welcomed its first guests. The project took five years from conception to opening.
The first guests were welcomed by Beach Park CEO Murilo Pascoal and the resort’s management team. Each family found a special gift in their room: a bottle of colored sand inspired by the traditional cycle prints of Majorlândia, a beach on the coast of Ceará.
This art form gained popularity in the 1950s, with the creation of landscapes inside glass bottles using sand of different colors. At Ohana, these pieces have been given a new interpretation by local artist Avany Oliveira, who depicts the lives and daily routines of the jangadeiros. The bottles are also on display in the lobby bar. The first day concluded with a poolside cocktail party in the late afternoon.

Ohana is home to more than 56 works of art that reflect the region’s culture and creative output. Among the artists and designers featured are the renowned Master Espedito Seleiro, Érico Gondim, Túlio Paracampos, Sérgio Melo, and Avany Oliveira. The resort also features elements designed specifically for its architecture and interiors.
