1985
1985

1985

One of Brazil's main tourist destinations had its origins in a seaside restaurant. In 1985, Beach Park began operations with the opening of its first beach hut in Porto das Dunas, in Aquiraz - CE.

1989

The water park opened in 1989 and had three attractions: Free-Fall, Kamikaze and Caracol. In the same year, the beach area gained new structures such as the Portal da Praia, the Museu da Jangada, the Largo do Peixe, the Cascata da Sereia and the famous Caminho de Garrafas.

1994

Since 1994, Beach Park has won awards for excellence and innovation, with new attractions and service concepts. That same year, the destination became Ceará's main tourist attraction with record numbers of visitors and an investment of 2 million in the expansion of the water park.

1996

In 1996, Beach Park inaugurated the first large resort in Ceará in partnership with the Caesar Tower hotel management company, with 175 international standard accommodations. In 1998, the resort was renamed Suites Beach Park Resort.

1997

In 1997, the 41-meter-high Insano was inaugurated and was considered the world's largest waterslide for almost a decade. The attraction was an important milestone for Beach Park and for tourism in Ceará, consolidating Aqua Park as one of the world's leading water parks.

2000

From the 2000s onwards, Beach Park expanded its business even further by launching new attractions for the Aqua Park, such as Maremoto (2000), Kalafrio (2001) and Aqua Show (2006), which are still a hit at the water park today.

2006

Around 2006, Vacation Club, Beach Park's vacation program, was launched, with a time-sharing system for accommodation in resorts around the world. Offering exclusive experiences, it became a special attraction for travelers, expanding the destination's offerings.

2008

In 2008, the Acqua Beach Park Resort opened with 225 apartments and an artificial river that takes guests straight to the water park, offering comfort and leisure by the sea. A remarkable addition to Ceará's hotel scene, it promises its visitors a memorable stay.

2011

2011 saw the debut of Rádio Beach Park, based in Fortaleza and licensed in Aquiraz. The station offers diversified programming with national and international classics.

2012

In 2012, Beach Park took over the management of yet another resort. 500 meters from Aqua Park and opposite Porto das Dunas beach, one of the most beautiful in Ceará, the Oceani Beach Park Resort arrived with 115 apartments, offering a unique stay with a breathtaking view.

2013

Opened in 2013, the Wellness Beach Park Resort offers a mix of hotel and residence with 360 apartments, a swimming pool and a Spa by L'Occitane. Providing more comfort and well-being for large families with spacious accommodation and exclusive services.

2015

To celebrate 30 years of operation, Beach Park launched Vaikuntudo, the world's largest tornado waterslide, raising the adrenaline of Aqua Park visitors. It also presented Vila Azul do Mar, a new living and entertainment space.

2016

As a way of demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, Beach Park achieved ISO 14.001 certification in 2016. It has become a benchmark among the country's water parks, meeting the environmental requirements needed to preserve the environment.

2021

In 2021, Beach Park inaugurated Tobomusik, Latin America's first musical waterslide with three different multicolored descents. The opening of the attraction was attended by one of the world's biggest DJs, Alok, as well as celebrities, influencers and journalists.

2023

In 2023, Beach Park inaugurated the expansion of Vila Azul do Mar with a carousel, new stores and a games area. The vacation novelty has brought even more entertainment, leisure and shopping options to its visitors.
