Tips for enjoying your first visit to Aqua Park

Aqua Park entertains people of all ages, and to enjoy your trip even more, it's worth knowing which attractions to start with, what to take to the water park, what time to arrive and other details.

Read on and check out the tips below!

1. See where Aqua Park is

The first step is to check the location of the water park and find the best ways to get there. The exact location of Aqua Park is Rua Porto das Dunas, 2734 - Porto das Dunas, Aquiraz/CE.

Remember that the entrance to Aqua Park is through Vila Azul do Mar. Just follow the path from the village to the beach and you'll soon see the signs leading to the park's ticket office. You can buy your ticket in advance on the official website and just show it with your documents to gain access to the park or, if you prefer, you can buy your ticket on the spot.

2. Check out all the attractions available in the Park

There are more than 30 water attractions for you to enjoy all day long. And by checking out the details of each attraction in advance, you can put together an itinerary with your favorites, the ones that can be a break from the extreme ones and the ones you can't miss.

3. Pay attention to the safety restrictions of each attraction

Each attraction follows certain requirements to keep everyone safe, so it's essential to pay attention to these details. You can check all this on the official website, in the attractions area.

For example, Kalafrio, an attraction that is 11 meters high and almost 90º inclined, has a maximum weight requirement of 180 kg for the two people in the double raft, and the person with the greater weight must descend at the front of the raft. Another important point is that the person weighing less must be at least half the weight of the other person.

4. See Aqua Park's opening hours

Opening hours may vary during the low and high seasons, but Aqua Park is usually open from Thursday to Tuesday, from 11am to 5pm. Vila Azul do Mar is open from Thursday to Tuesday, from 9.30am to 10pm. During the high season, such as December, January and July, the park is open every day.

5. Buy your ticket in advance and book your visit

Buying your ticket in advance through the official website is the best way to guarantee fun with more planning and savings. That's because, as well as being able to book your visit at least a month or two months in advance, so you can better prepare for the tour, you also get an incredible discount.

6. Give preference to going right when the park opens

If you are staying at one of the four Beach Park Resorts, you are entitled to enter one hour before the park opens, but if you are just visiting as a customer, you should be at Aqua Park by the time it opens at 11am.

By arriving early, you can enjoy all the attractions more calmly, so you can enjoy the day without rushing and without the fear of not having time to go to all the attractions you want.

7. Intersperse extreme attractions with moderate and light ones

One tip for having a great time and relaxing is to mix the more extreme attractions, such as the classic Insano and the newest attraction, Surreal, with the alternatives that are more suitable for relaxing, among them:

  • Current;
  • Wave pool;
  • Aquabism;
  • Tobomusik;
  • Atlantis.

8. Set aside time to rest

Another plus point of arriving as soon as the park opens is that you can also take some time to relax in the park. There are plenty of sun loungers where you can lie down to sunbathe, chat or simply rest for a while between rides.

You can also take advantage of the restaurants and snack bars that have tables and chairs to take a break, eat and chat with your loved ones.

9. List what you need to take

Separating the things you're going to take in your bag or backpack can make your trip to the park a lot easier too, to make sure you don't forget anything you might need. Here's a list of recommended items:

  • Bath towel;
  • Extra change of clothes;
  • Water bottle;
  • Sunglasses;
  • Face and body sunscreen;
  • Slippers or sandals;
  • Light clothing;
  • Cap or hat;
  • Photo ID;
  • Online or printed tickets;
  • Card or cash for extra expenses.

If you have a very specific diet or follow a strict medical diet, you can bring your meal with your doctor's prescription and present it at the box office.

10. Use the extra services

In addition to the water attractions, restaurants and relaxation areas, you and your family can also take advantage of the extra services that Aqua Park offers its customers:

  • Cabanas for up to 6, 8 or 16 people: a comfortable environment for families who want more privacy in the water park, with a minibar, sofa, TV, chairs and hammocks;
  • Click Beach: a kiosk inside the park where you can take photos of your moments enjoying the attractions and retrieve the records later;
  • Recordings on the attractions: next to the Surreal and ToboMusik attractions, you can purchase a recording camera to receive your footage of you enjoying the attraction from start to finish;
  • Luggage lockers: the small locker holds clothes, towels and glasses, and the large locker can hold backpacks, larger bags and suitcases, in order to provide more convenience while you enjoy the park;
  • Parking: near the entrance, you can park your car safely for a one-off fee of R$50, which makes it much easier to get around, especially if you have children and/or luggage.
