The activity marks the end of the Sustainable Day program, which began last Monday (4)
Beach Park reinforced its commitment to environmental education at Beach Park during the 4th Sustainable Day. To round off the week of activities, the Mãos à Horta project welcomed students from public schools for a practical sustainability experience. The initiative also strengthens the link between the community and conservation.
Set up in the Compost Yard, the project combines organic cultivation, recycling and healthy eating. It thus contributes directly to environmental learning through experience. Activities take place in two shifts and include practical lessons and didactic explanations.

During the visits, the students learn about composting, organic gardens and the importance of natural food. At the same time, they develop a sense of responsibility and collectivity. The action is an extension of the park's philosophy of active and sustainable learning.
"The activities promote not only environmental education, but also the strengthening of cooperation and social responsibility among the students," says Raíssa Bissol, Sustainability Manager.
The day began with a visit to the new Arvorar park, dedicated to conservation. Afterwards, there were talks at the Azul do Mar space with specialists in the reintroduction of fauna and sustainability. The Arvorar Call for Proposals was also launched, which will fund environmental projects in Ceará.
From November 6 to 8, the participants visited the Serra das Almas Reserve. This stage involved hiking trails and native bird watching, as well as a presentation of the Refauna Arvorar project. The event therefore integrated theory, practice and real impact.
"Sustainability is possible and accessible to everyone. Together we can build a greener and more prosperous future," Raíssa said.
